The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 9 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. today:
• JOSEPH YANEZ, 40, of 1408 Oriole, was arrested Sunday on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
• IRMA MORIN YANEZ, 39, of 1408 Oriole, was arrested Sunday on a charge of public intoxication.
• OSCAR CANALES, 55, of 1700 S. Main, was arrested Sunday on warrants for failure to maintain financial responsibility, expired driver's license, expired motor vehicle inspection certificate, accumulated items/weeds/rubbish (two counts) and failure to appear.
• SONIA RENEE STRAUGHTER, 47, of 1500 Tucson, was arrested Monday on a warrant for theft – more than $50 and less than $500.
• ESPERANZA GARZA, 42, of 601 N.W. Fifth St., was arrested Monday on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid – no insurance.
• CRYSTAL LASHEL COBLE, 25, of 2710 Anderson Rd., was arrested Monday on a warrant for duty on striking fixture or landscape – less than $200.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 1600 block of Martin Luther King Blvd.
• ASSAULT was reported:
In the 800 block of Johnson.
In the 800 block of E. 14th Street.
