The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• ERNESTO MARQUEZ ZUBIATE, 59, of 1103 E. 11th Place, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for assault by threat.
• TOMMY GENE ROPER, 39, of 1311 Mobile, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for theft – more than $500 and less than $1,500.
• BELINDA KAY HALL, 36, of 1434 Hilltop Rd., was arrested Thursday on a charge of assault causing bodily injury – family violence.
• CHAD EVAN HALL, 39, of 1434 Hilltop Rd., was arrested Thursday on a charge of assault causing bodily injury – family violence.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported:
In the 100 block of E. Third Street.
In the 2400 block of W. Interstate Highway 20.
In the 400 block of S. Goliad.
• THEFT was reported in the 800 block of W. FM 700.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
In the 1400 block of E. 11th Place.
In the 2600 block of Langley.
• ASSAULT was reported:
In the 1600 block of Martin Luther King Blvd.
In the 1900 block of Wasson Road.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 70 inmates at the time of this report.
• ERNESTO MARQUEZ ZUBIATE, 59, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a municipal warrant for assault by threat.
• CHAD HALL, 39, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of assault causing bodily injury.
• BELINDA KAY TAYLOR, 36, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of assault causing bodily injury.
