The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 9 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. today:
• ROBERT RUBEN SANCHEZ, 47, of 1405 Wood St., was arrested Monday on a charge of public intoxication.
• DAVID REY GONZALES, 41, of 404 N.E. Piner St., was arrested Monday on charges of warrant from other agency and possession of controlled substance less than one gram in drug free zone.
• BURGLARY OF BUILDING was reported in the 1200 block of Birdwell Lane.
• ASSAULT was reported:
In the 800 block of S. Owens Street.
In the 700 block of Creighton Street.
• DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE was reported in the 2100 block of Runnels Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 64 inmates at the time of this report.
• DAVID R GONZALES, 41, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of controlled substance less than one gram in drug free zone and parole violation.
• SHERREE ANNETTE WARD, 33, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on charges of no drivers license, driving while license invalid, failure to appear (three counts), display expired registration and fail to maintain financial responsibility.
• JOHN LEYVA, 20, was arrested Monday on a charge of DWI.
• JORDAN KIZER, 18, was arrested Tuesday by DPS on charges of ride not secured by safety belt — passenger, violate promise to appear credit card or debit card abuse.
• JAMIE PRESTON TURNER, 40, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
