The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• MONICA RENAE POLK, 38, of Odessa, Texas, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency and warrants for assault by contact, failure to appear (three counts), no driver's license – when unlicensed and disregarding a stop sign.
• LAURA ANN MURPHY, 28, of 1102 Ridgeroad, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for backed so as to interfere (or without safety).
• SERGIO JOSEPH MARTINEZ, 21, of 805 Rosemont, was arrested Wednesday on warrants for failure to maintain financial responsibility, speeding and bail jumping – failure to appear (fine only, two counts).
• RONALD STANLEY HASELBY, 62, of Carlsbad, N.M., was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• ROBERT ALLEN THORP, 24, of 1609 E. Third St., was arrested Wednesday on warrants for indecency with a child – sexual contact (two counts).
• STOLEN VEHICLE was reported in the 100 block of Hooser Road.
• THEFT was reported in the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:

• ROBERT ALLEN THORP, 24, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on motions to adjudicate guilt for indecency with a child – sexual contact (two counts).
• MONICA R. POLK, 38, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of bail jumping – failure to appear and municipal warrants for assault by contact, failure to appear (three counts), no driver's license – when unlicensed and disregarding a stop sign.
• LAURA ANN MURPHY, 28, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on a municipal capias warrant for backing so as to interfere )or without safety).
• SERGIO JOSEPH MARTINEZ, 21, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on municipal warrants for failure to maintain financial responsibility, speeding, failure to appear and violation of a promise to appear.
• JOHNNY LAVELL GREEN, 49, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for failure to identify – giving false information.
• RONALD HASELBY, 62, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
