The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. today:
• PHILLIP BERNALD WHEAT, 54, of 1314 Mobile, was arrested Monday on warrants for driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction and driving while license invalid.
• RUDOLFO HERNANDEZ HILARIO, 51, of 402 Edwards Blvd., was arrested Monday on a warrant for expired motor vehicle inspection certificate.
• JESSE MARTINEZ, 43, of 107 Becker Rd., was arrested Monday on a charge of shoplifting (theft) – more than $50 and less than $500.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 200 block of W. FM 700.
In the 800 block of N. Scurry.
Near the intersection of Old Colorado City Highway and Davis Road.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 72 inmates at the time of this report.
• PHILLIP BERBARD WHEAT, 54, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension and a municipal warrant for driving while license invalid.
• RODOLFO RUDY HILARIO, 51, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of expired motor vehicle inspection certificate.
• JESSE MARTINEZ, 43, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of theft.
• DUSTIN COE NOBLE, 20, was arrested Monday by the HCSOo n a municipal warrant for speeding.
• DAVID FREDRICK DOWNS, 43, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on a Beaverhead County warrant for felony theft.
• ROSA DEJESUS GUSMAN, 28, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on charges of burglary of a building and possession of drug paraphernalia.
