The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• JAMIE EULALA CHANDLER, 38, of San Angelo, was arrested Thursday on a charge of hindering apprehension/prosecution of a known felon.
• ROBERT RUBEN SANCHEZ, 47, of 1405 Wood, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication with three prior convictions.
• MICHAEL EVERET BARNETT, 24, of 207 Moore Rd., was arrested Thursday on a warrant from another agency.
• NICOLAS GRAIG MILLS, 31, of 614 Steakley, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for driving while license invalid.
• JOSE ORTEGA JR., 41, of 601 Abrams, was arrested Thursday on a warrant from another agency.
• THEFT was reported:
In the area near Highway 87 and FM 2230.
In the 1600 block of E. 15th Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 55 inmates at the time of this report.
• BETTYE JANE MCWILLIAMS, 69, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a motion to revoke probation for theft of service.
• CLIFFORD LEE COOK, 35, was arrested Thursday by the U.S. Marshals Service and held for disorderly conduct.
• JAMIE EULALA CHANDLER, 38, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of hindering the apprehension or prosecution of a known felon.
• JOE ORTEGA, 41, was booked into the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of theft by check.
• LOUIS ANTONIO SILVA, 23, was booked into the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• DAVID GARZA JR., 26, was booked into the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• SHIMEON RASHAD MAGERS, 28, was booked into the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of failure to maintain financial responsibility and municipal warrants for failure to maintain financial responsibility, violation of a promise to appear (two counts), failure to appear (eight counts), expired motor vehicle inspection and no seat belt – driver.
