The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. May 13, 2013 and 7 a.m. today:
• JOSE HILARIO MARTINEZ, 26, of 1505 E. Cherokee, was arrested Monday on a charge of public intoxication.
• NOEL GARCIA III, 31, of 1011 Stadium, was arrested Monday on a warrant from another agency.
• RICHARD LEE OLIVAS, 26, of 1600 Donley, was arrested Monday for possession of marijuana less than or equal to 2 ounces in a drug free zone and evading arrest/detention.
• GORDON WESLEY TAYLOR, 54, of 4200 Center Point Rd., was arrested Monday on a charge of speeding.
• ANDREW PATRICK FRYE, 25, of 709 Woodforest Dr., Kingsland, Texas was arrested Monday on a charge of causing an accident involving damage to vehicle less than $200.
• SHAWN CARR II, 32, OF 2504 Gunter Circle, was arrested Monday for failure to identify – fugitive giving false information.
• DON LLOYD BROOKS, 46, OF 1712 E. 15th St., was arrested Monday for driving while license suspended/invalid previous conviction.
• ABRAHAM TREVINO, 23, of 624 Rice Dr., Andrews, Texas was arrested Monday for driving while disqualified in a commercial vehicle with a previous conviction.
• SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY was reported at the 500 block of Westover.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported at the 500 block of NW 9th St.
• MAJOR ACCIDENT was reported at the 2000 block of Goliad.
• JUVENILE PROBLEM was reported at the 3600 block of W. Hwy 80.
• THEFT was reported at thee 3000 block of Sherrod.
• ASSAULT was reported at the 1200 block of Madison.
• THEFT was reported at the 1000 block of E. 21st St.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 83 inmates at the time of this report.
• GORDON WESLEY TAYLOR, 54, was booked by the HCSO Monday on a charge of speeding 47 mph in a 30 mph zone.
• SHAWN CARR II, 32, was booked by the HCSO on a charge of fugitive intentionally giving false information.
• DON LLOYD BROOKS, 46, was booked by the HCSO to begin 30 day sentence for driving while license suspended.
• ANDREW P. FRYE, 25, was booked by the HCSO on a charge of causing an accident involving damage to vehicle less than $200.
• ABRAHAM TREVINO, 23, was booked by thee HCSO on a charge of driving while disqualified in a commercial vehicle with a previous conviction.
• NOEL GARCIA II, 31, was booked by the HCSO on a charge of issuance of a bad check.
• VINCENTE VIOLANTE, 24, was booked by the Glassock County Sheriffs Department on a charge of violation of motor fuel tax requirements.
• RICHARD LEE OLIVAS, 26, was booked by the BSPD on a charge of evading arrest/detention.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported at the 2000 block of Goliad. One person transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported at the 300 block of Veteran's Blvd. One person transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported at th 3600 block of W. Hwy 80. One person transported to SMMC.
