The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. XXXXXX and 7 a.m. today:
• LUPE MENDOZA CHAVARRIA, 59, of 605 S. Abrams, was arrested Wednesday on warrants for expired motor vehicle inspection certificate, failure to appear (three counts), disregarding a stop sign, parked with wheels more than 18 inches from curb and driving while intoxicated.
• RUDOLPH LEO GUTIERREZ III, 21, of 2613 S. Monticello, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for no driver's license – when unlicensed.
• DARRYL LEE MILLER, 37, of 710 Pine St., was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency and warrants for speeding in school zone and no driver's license – when unlicensed.
• BRADY BALDWIN III, 32, of Dallas, Texas, was arrested Wednesday on warrants for expired driver's license and failure to appear.
• ASSAULT was reported:
In the 1400 block of Wood Street.
In the 1500 block of Princeton.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 800 block of W. Marcy.
In the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.
In the 800 block of Johnson.
• FORGERY was reported in the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 81 inmates at the time of this report.
• DARRYL LEE MILLER, 37, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of issuance of a bad check and municipal capias warrants for speeding in a school zone and no driver's license.
• BRADY BALDWIN III, 32, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on municipal warrants for expired driver's license and failure to appear.
• JEFFERY EUGENE MCCASLIN, 61, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by DPS on a Tom Green County warrant for driving while license suspended/invalid.
• CYNTHIA LORRA KENNEDY, 51, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of public intoxication.
• CHRISTOPHER RIVERS JORDAN, 39, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of parent contributing to non-attendance.
• AVA GONZALES, 44, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the Sterling County Sheriff's Office on a charge of public intoxication.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1300 block of E. Sixth Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of Veterans Blvd. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1800 block of E. FM 700. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2500 block of Langley. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 100 block of N.E. Ninth Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
