The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• BRAD WAYNE DUGAN JR., 29, of 4614 Aspen, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of possession of a dangerous drug.
• OSCAR ORTIZ, 24, of 1401 N. Highway 87 Apt. 1002, was arrested Tuesday on warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear.
• ASHLEY ANN TAYLOR, 33, of 1112 Sycamore, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for parent contributing to the non-attendance of a minor.
• JACOB ELLIOTT SHUMATE, 29, of 1104 N. Nolan, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant from another agency.
• ORLANDO CASTELAN JR., 30, of 1723 Purdue, was arrested Tuesday on warrants for bail jumping – failure to appear and driving while intoxicated – second offense.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 1600 block of N. Birdwell Lane.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.
In the 900 block of Golf Course Road.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported in the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 83 inmates at the time of this report.
• JACOB ELLIOTT SHUMATE, 29, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a Mitchell County warrant for motion to revoke probation – obstruction of highway.
• ORLANDO CASTELAN JR., 30, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on judgments/sentences for driving while intoxicated – second offense and bail jumping – failure to appear.
• BRAD WAYNE DUGAN JR., 29, was booked into the county detention center Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of a dangerous drug.
• OSCAR ORTIZ JR., 24, was booked into the county detention center Tuesday by the BSPD on municipal warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear.
• JIMMY RAY YOUNG, 51, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the Sterling County Sheriff's Office on a Sterling County warrant for driving while intoxicated – second offense and a Corsicana Police Department warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
• BOBBY JO ROSS, 58, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the Sterling County Sheriff's Office on a Sterling County warrant for public intoxication.
• GWENDOLYN FAULKNER, 75, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on a Midland County warrant for non-reportable/obtaining a controlled substance.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of N. Main Street. Service refused.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 600 block of Linda Lane. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of Dealy. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2300 block of Wasson Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
