The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• DAMIAN ISMAEL LUJAN, 28, of 1014 nolan, was arrested thursday on a warrant for defective tail lamp.
• ERIC CHARLES CURTIS, 28, of Weatherford, Texas, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• BRANDON DENNIS OLIVETTI, 21, of 704 Highland Dr., was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• RICHIE KARL ROMINE, 24, of 510 Donley, was arrested Thursday on two warrants from other agencies and charges of failure to identify as a fugitive – giving false information and prohibited substance in a correctional facility.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 300 block of Golf Course Road.
In the 1900 block of Wasson Road.
In the 600 block of State Street.
In the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.
In the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.
In the 1600 block of Nolan.
• ASSAULT was reported:
In the 1500 block of Wood Street.
In the 1600 block of Martin Luther King Blvd.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 80 inmates at the time of this report.
• SANTINO GABRIEL HERMOSILLO, 24, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by DPS on a charge of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• LEE ALLEN MATHIS, 47, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on charges of theft by check – more than $20 and less than $500, issuance of a bad check and an Austin parole warrant.
• JOE LYNN PAYNE, 42, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of bail jumping – failure to appear.
• BOYCE ALAN TATE, 34, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of fraudulently claiming a lottery prize – more than $200 and less than $10,000.
• RICHIE ROMINE, 24, was booked into the county detention center Friday by the BSPD on charges of failure to identify as a fugitive – giving false information, prohibited substance or item in a correctional facility and Montague County warrants for motion to revoke probation for forgery of a financial instrument and burglary of a building.
• MARIO IRENEO YANEZ, 32, was booked into the county detention center Friday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger less than 15 years of age.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of Interstate Highway 20. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2800 block of Lawrence. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 200 block of Runnels. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported near the intersection of N. Highway 87 and FM 2230. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 900 block of San Antonio. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Blvd. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 100 block of Broadway in Coahoma. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of W. 16th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 900 block of Golf Course. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1300 block of S. Gregg Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2600 block of Chanute. One person was transported to SMMC.
