The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• DANIEL RUSSELL QUALLS, 34, of 2602 Dow, was arrested Tuesday on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
• BILLY BOB ALVARADO, 34, of 1704 Virginia, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of criminal trespass.
• JESSICA RENEE ORSAK, 24, of 701 Settles, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant from another agency.
• JOHN JOE ATKINSON JR., 28, of Midland, Texas, was arrested Tuesday on warrants for bail jumping – failure to appear, driving while intoxicated, failure to appear and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
• ANDRES NIETO, 43, of 312 E. Davis Rd., was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for evading arrest or detention.
• JIM TRAVIS COKER, 62, of 208 Moore Rd., was arrested Tuesday on charges of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction, failure to maintain financial responsibility and expired motor vehicle inspection certificate.
• ARON LEE TEAGUE, 20, of Chillicothe, Texas, was arrested Tuesday on charges of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction and expired registration.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 1700 block of E. Third Street.
In the 2600 block of S. Gregg Street.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
In the 1500 block of Martin Luther King Blvd.
In the 1000 block of N. Main Street.
• FORGERY was reported in the 400 block of E. FM 700.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported:
In the 800 block of S. Lancaster.
In the 1900 block of Johnson Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 85 inmates at the time of this report.
• DANIEL RUSSELL QUALLS, 34, was booked into the county detention center Tuesday by the BSPD on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
• JOHN JOE ATKINSON JR., 28, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on charges of failure to maintain financial responsibility, violation of a promise to appear, bail jumping – failure to appear and a Mitchell County warrant for motion to revoke probation for driving while intoxicated.
• ANDRES NIETO, 43, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for evading arrest or detention.
• BILLY BOB ALVARADO, 34, was booked into the county detention center Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of criminal trespass.
• JIM TRAVIS COKER, 62, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on charges of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
• ARON LEE TEAGUE, 20, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on charges of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension and expired registration.
• JESSICA RENEE ORSAK, 24, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on a Beeville, Texas, warrant for theft by check.
• JOSE TORRES CASTRO, 42, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the Glasscock County Sheriff's Office on a Laredo, Texas, warrant for theft.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of FM 846 and FM 2230. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of Leatherwood. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 400 block of N. Gregg Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• DUMPSTER FIRE was reported in the 900 block of Goliad.
