The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity:
• PRINCESS MARIE TREVINO, 24, 3607 Hamilton, was arrested on warrants for failure to maintain financial responsibility, no driver's license and failure to appear.
• LAUREN RACINE SMITH, 25, 1501 Scurry, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, theft and assault/family violence.
• JACOB RAY ALVARADO, 20, 300 Tulane, was arrested on a charge of evading arrest/detention.
• JOSEPHINE GUADALUPE TORRES, 23, Coahoma, was arrested on a charge of assault by contact.
• FRANK CASTILLO JR., 33, Coahoma, was arrested on a charge of assault by contact.
• DARRIN JAY CROOKS, 53, 4200 Bilger, was arrested on a warrant from another agency.
• THEFT was reported in the 200 block of W. FM 700, the 2800 block of FM 700, the 2000 block of Gregg and the 400 block of Gregg.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported in the 800 block of Culp in Coahoma and the 700 block of Douglas..
• HARASSMENT was reported in the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.

Because of computer problems, a booking report from the Howard County Sheriff's Office was unavailable this morning (76 prisoners were reported in the county jail).

The Big Spring Fire Department/Emergency Medical Service reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transferred to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of S. Lancaster. One person was transferred to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of E. Sixth. One person was transferred to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of N.E. Interstate 20. One person was transferred to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 400 block of Donley. One person was transferred to SMMC.
• GRASS FIRE was reported in the 2800 block of S. Gregg. One person was transferred to SMMC.
