The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• OSCAR ORTIZ, 23, of 1302 Madison, was arrested Thursday on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less, possession of a controlled substance, driving while license invalid and failure to appear.
• CASMIRA VEGA, 20, of 1302 Madison, was arrested Thursday on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and possession of a controlled substance.
• JOE THOMAS RODRIGUEZ JR., 24, of 1510 Sycamore Apt. B, was arrested Thursday on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• NATHAN HENRY BAKER, 58, of 106 Lockhart, was arrested Thursday on a warrant from another agency.
• MICKEY LYNN GAMMONS, 63, of 2100 S. Runnels, was arrested Thursday on charges of public intoxication and hindering officers discharging official duties.
• TINA MARIE AUSBIE, 25, of 1100 Pickens, was arrested Thursday on four warrants from other agencies.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.
In the 900 block of Willia.
In the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported:
In the 2000 block of Runnels.
In the 1000 block of N. Runnels.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 900 block of W. Fourth Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 70 inmates at the time of this report.
• TINA MARIE AUSBIE, 25, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on charges of bondsman off bond – possession of a controlled substance, bondsman off bond – possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone(two counts) and bondsman off bond – theft of property (more than $1,500 and less than $20,000).
• SAMMY BEN JOHNSTON, 48, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a blue warrant from Austin Parole.
• CELESTE MCARTHUR SKIDMORE, 32, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the Glasscock County Sheriff's Office on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• JOE THOMAS RODRIGUEZ JR., 24, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on charges of no driver's license, violation of a promise to appear and possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• OSCAR ORTIZ, 23, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less, possession of a controlled substance and municipal warrants for driving while license invalid and failure to appear.
• CASIMIRA VEGA, 20, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and possession of a controlled substance.
• NATHAN HENRY BAKER, 58, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on an Austin parole violation.
• MICKEY LYNN GAMMONS, 63, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on charges of public intoxication and hindering officers discharging official duties.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of W. 17th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 100 block of W. Marcy. One person was transported to SMMC.
• GRASS FIRE was reported in the 100 block of N. Johnson.
