The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
Note: The BSPD reported no arrests for the corresponding times.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 1800 block of S. Gregg Street.
In the 500 block of W. Eighth Street.
In the 1300 block of S. Birdwell Lane.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 67 inmates at the time of this report.
• BLAKE RYAN LYLE, 29, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on an order modifying the conditions of community supervision.
• GABRIEL NIETO, 34, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a motion to revoke probation for driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• MARCUS JOE ANDERSON, 30, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a motion to revoke probation for failure to identify – giving false information.
• SHALIMAR MARIE CHANCY, 29, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on charges of failure to identify – giving false information and a bench warrant for driving while intoxicated with a child passenger under 15 years of age.
• ROBERT SCOTT OCHOA, 31, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of assault by threat.
• MARIE BUCKNER KAUSS, 51, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• ANSELMO JOEL ONTIVEROS JR., 25, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2200 block of Grace. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of E. 17th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 100 block of Terry Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2500 block of Chanute. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 100 block of Weaver Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of E. 11th Place. Service refused.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported in the 300 block of Tulane. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 2700 block of W. Third Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
