The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• JOHNNY REX DAVIS, 41, of Midland, was arrested Thursday on charges of aggravated assault and criminal mischief – more than $1,500 and less than $20,000.
• GILBERT RECIO JR., 38, of 1007 Wood, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• JULIAN JAY TORRES, 18, of 500.5 N.W. Seventh St., was arrested Thursday on charges of deadly conduct, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and resisting arrest, search or transportation.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 800 block of Lorilla.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 1700 block of N. Highway 350.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 1600 block of Settles.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 65 inmates at the time of this report.
• RUSTY WAYNE GRESSETT, 22, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for a motion to revoke probation for possession of a controlled substance.
• RICKY RAY WINTERS JR., 25, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for revocation of probation for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.
• LEROY COLEMAN JR., 22, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for revocation of probation for criminal mischief – more than $1,500 and less than $20,000.
• SCOTTY RAY BLAND, 32, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of making a terroristic threat.
• JIMMY RAY MELCHOR, 48, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for driving while intoxicated – third or more offense.
• JULIAN JAY TORRES, 18, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, deadly conduct and resisting arrest, search or transportation.
• ERIC DON JUAREZ, 30, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on Midland warrants for exploitation of a disabled individual and theft by repetition.
• CHRISTOPHER LEE BEDFORD, 31, was arrested Friday by DPS on charges of theft (two counts).
• JONATHAN DOUGLAS, 39, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on a charge of bail jumping - failure to appear.
