The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• ADAN CHAVERA, 41, of 600 Holbert, was arrested Wednesday on charges of driving while license suspended/invalid – no insurance and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
• MELINDA ERIN WALKER, 29, of San Diego, Calif., was arrested Wednesday on a charge of hindering officers discharging official duties.
• LINDA DIANE HERNANDEZ, 36, of Lubbock, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency.
• GREGORY TURNBOW, 51, of 4100 S. Highway 87 Apt. 91, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• TYRE COLE WATTS, 26, of 5101 Fisher, was arrested Thursday on charges of criminal mischief and criminal trespass of a habitation/shelter.
• KELLY PHILLIPS, 50, of 1904 E. 25th St. Apt. 208, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of disorderly conduct – language.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported:
In the 4100 block of S. Highway 87.
In the 1600 block of Virginia.
• THEFT was reported in the 1600 block of E. 11th Place.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
In the 400 block of S. Gregg Street.
In the 1500 block of Lincoln.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 73 inmates at the time of this report.
• MELINDA ERIN WALKER, 29, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of hindering the official duties of a police officer.
• TERESA LORENE LANG, 28, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• HOLLY DENISE JENNINGS, 26, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on charges of theft and possession of a controlled substance.
• JOSEPH ALTON MURLEY, 32, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• LINDA VILLA HERNANDEZ, 36, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a Midland warrant for violation of probation.
• WILLIAM MACK RICHARDSON, 22, was arrested Wednesday by DPS on charges of violation of a promise to appear and running a stop sign.
• GREGORY TURNBOW, 51, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• TYRE COLE WATTS, 26, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on charges of criminal mischief and criminal trespass of a habitation/shelter.
• KELLY MARIE PHILLIPS, 50, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of disorderly conduct – language.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the area of Highway 176. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 200 block of W. Marcy. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2400 block of Alabama. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 900 block of E. 15th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
