The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• GILBERT RECIO JR., 38, of 1007 Wood, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• DAVID REY GONZALES, 40, of 404 NE 10th St., was arrested Thursday on a warrant from another agency.
• GLORIA ORALIA GUTIERREZ, 21, of 2505 March St., was arrested Thursday on a warrant for disorderly conduct by fighting.
• SAMMY FERRELL, 49, of 509 N. Johnson St., was arrested Thursday on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct language.
• CRUZ GUTIERREZ JR., 18, of 700 S. Lancaster St., was arrested Thursday on a charge of possession of controlled substance over or equal to four grams and less than 200 grams.
• FRANK GALAN, 34, of 406 Dallas St., was arrested Thursday on a charge of criminal mischief over $500 and less than $1500.
• JACOB GALAN, 21, of 1607 S. Main St., was arrested Thursday on a charge of hindering officers discharging official duties.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 2900 block of W. Hwy 80.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 800 block of W. IH 20.
In the 400 block of Father Delaney Street.
In the 1300 block of Princeton Avenue.
In the 1800 block of S. Gregg Street.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 1000 block of Hearn Street.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 600 block of N. San Antonio Street.
• DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE was reported in the 400 block of Dallas Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 74 inmates at the time of this report.
• DENA GAYE COKER, 54, was arrested Thursday by HCSO on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
• GLORIA ORALIA GUTIERREZ, 21, was arrested Thursday by HCSO on a charge of disorderly conduct fighting with another.
• CHRISTOPHER DANIEL MARQUEZ, 18, was arrested Thursday by HCSO on charges of FTA/theft of property over or equal to $1500 and less than $20,000 and MTAG/theft of property over or equal to $1500 and less than $20,000.
• DAVID R. GONZALES, 40, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by BSPD on a charge of parole violation.
• FRANK MUNOZ GALAN JR., 34, was transferred to the county jail Friday by BSPD on a charge of criminal mischief over or equal to $500 and less than $1,500.
• CRUZ GUTIERREZ JR., 18, was transferred to the county jail Friday by BSPD on a charge of possession of controlled substance over or equal to four grams and less than 200 grams.
• JACOB ALEXANDER GALAN, 21, was transferred to the county jail Friday by BSPD on a charge of hindering officer discharging official duties.
• SAMMY FERRELL, 49, was transferred to the county jail Friday by BSPD on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct language.
• LIONSO LEE JIMENEZ III, 32, was transferred to the county jail Friday by BSPD on charges of fail to identify giving false/fictitious information and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported in the 300 block of Tulane. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of W. I-20. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 100 block of Scout Hut. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of Martin Luther King. One person was transported to SMMC.
