The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. today:
• SHOTS FIRED was reported:
In the 600 block of N. San Antonio Street.
In the 500 block of State Street.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 300 block of S. Owens.
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 700 block of Creighton.
In the 2500 block of Lynn Drive.
In the 1300 block of S. Gregg Street.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported in the 200 block of E. 11th Place.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 1400 block of N. Highway 87.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 73 inmates at the time of this report.
• LE ELIZABETH CARRASCO, 22, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the Martin County Sheriff's Office on charges of assault causing bodily injury, assault by contact, minor in consumption and public intoxication.
• DONALD CRAIG BAKER, 40, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on a probation modification/sentence.
• FLORENCIO A. CARRILLO, 21, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a charge of public intoxication.
• LOGAN EARL JOSEF ROSE, 29, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a municipal warrant for disorderly conduct – fighting.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of 20th Street and Main. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 200 block of Nolan. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 100 block of N.W. Eighth Street. Service refused.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported near the intersection of 16th Street and Gregg Street. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1400 block of W. Second Street. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of Avenue A. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of Tulsa. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1400 block of Wood. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of Runnels. One person was transported to SMMC.
