The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• ARLINDA ROSALES SMITH, 60, of 2002 S. Nolan, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of silent or abusive calls to 911 service.
• ENRIQUE MARTINEZ ALVAREZ JR., 48, of 823 W. Eighth St., was arrested Tuesday on a warrant from another agency.
• JIMMY RAY WILLIS JR., 41, of 303 Spring Creek Rd., was arrested Tuesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction.
• ROBERT RUBEN SANCHEZ, 47, of 1405 Wood, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• CRIMINAL TRESPASS was reported in the 700 block of E. 11th Place.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 1600 block of Wood Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 86 inmates at the time of this report.
• GERALD RAY KING, 31, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a charge of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• STEPHANIE R. WILLIAMS, 22, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for possession of marijuana in a drug free zone – two ounces or less and a motion to revoke probation for possession of marijuana – more than two ounces and less than four ounces.
• MANUEL ESCAMILLA JR., 25, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for evading arrest or detention.
• JIMMY RAY WILLIS JR., 41, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• ROBERT RUBIN SANCHEZ, 47, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• DAVID LANCE KILGORE, 41, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of assault causing bodily injury – family violence.
• DANA DENISE REID, 41, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of assault causing bodily injury – family violence.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3200 block of Parkway. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 4200 block of Muir. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2600 block of Hunter. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1500 block of Sycamore. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Blvd. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 400 block of Fourth Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
