The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• PRISMA JESSICA VIERA, 25, of 1900 Martin Luther King Blvd. Apt. 407, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of abandoning/endangering a child with intent to return.
• AARON COMPTON, 21, of Garden City, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• MARCUS LAMON COLE, 24, of 1102 S. Lancaster, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of tampering/fabricating physical evidence.
• AUTUMN ROSE HENRICHS, 23, of Garden City, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• LIZA LEIGH GARFIAS, 27, of 1002 N. Main St., was arrested Tuesday on warrants for failure to maintain financial responsibility and a warrant from another agency.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
In the 700 block of S. Gregg Street.
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
• THEFT was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 76 inmates at the time of this report.
• PETER SCOTT LYMAN, 39, was arrested Tuesday on a judgment/sentence for driving while intoxicated – second offense.
• PRISMA JESSICA VIERA, 25, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of abandoning/endangering a child with intent to return.
• DARRELL SCOTT SHULTZ, 28, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a charge of theft – more than $20,000 and less than $100,000.
• AARON PAUL COMPTON, 21, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• MARCUS LAMON COLE, 24, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on charges of driver not secured, failure to maintain financial responsibility, violation of a promise to appear and tampering/fabricating physical evidence.
• AUTUMN ROSE HENRICHS, 23, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• LIZA L. OVALLE, 27, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a municipal warrant for capias – failure to maintain financial responsibility and a charge of theft by check.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of Avion and Webb. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Blvd. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 100 block of Tubb Loop Road. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 200 block of Jefferson. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported near the 172 mile marker of Interstate Highway 20. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported near the intersection of Fourth Street and Runnels. Service refused.
• TRAUMA was reported near the 170 mile marker of Interstate Highway 20. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1000 block of N. Main Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of N.E. Main. One person was transported to SMMC.
