The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• JOEY EUGENE MATA, 23, of 1 Courtney Place Apt. 402, was arrested Thursday on a charge of forging/altering prescription.
• BEN TORRES GONZALES, 41, of 1200 S. Nolan, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for criminal mischief.
• JON COLE MCLEOD, 21, of 618 Tulane, was arrested Thursday on warrants for Consumption of alcohol by a minor (two counts).
• JAMEY SCOTT JOHNSON, 48, transient, was arrested Friday on a charge of disorderly conduct – noise.
• ZACK MONROE TURMAN, 33, of 3509 E. Interstate Highway 20 Apt. 29, was arrested Friday on a charge of public intoxication.
• AUDREY DALE NEWELL, 43, of 1507 Sycamore, was arrested Friday on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 1300 block of Park.
• FORGERY was reported in the 2000 block of S. Gregg Street.
• THEFT was reported in the 1000 block of S. Gregg Street.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 800 block of W. FM 700.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 78 inmates at the time of this report.
• JOEY EUGENE MATA, 24, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of forge/increase prescription quantity/dangerous drug.
• BEN TORRES GONZALES, 40, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of criminal mischief.
• JON COLE MCLEOD, 21, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on capias warrants for minor consuming alcohol (two counts).
• GEORGE ANTHONY ROBINSON JR., 44, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on a charge of failure to identify as a fugitive from justice – giving false information.
• ZACK MONROE TURMAN, 33, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• JAMEY SCOTT JOHNSON, 48, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on a charge of disorderly conduct – noise.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
