The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• LARRY JAMES STERLING, 53, of 2911 W. Highway 80, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of criminal mischief – more than $500 and less than $1,500.
• AURORA CANTU, 27, of 2911 W. Highway 80 Apt. 248, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant from another agency.
• CHARLIE EVERRETT RYERSON, 65, transient, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• SCOTT FREY, 62, transient, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
In the 1200 block of Lindbergh.
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 600 block of S. Aylesford.
In the 400 block of E. Fourth St.
• ASSAULT was reported:
In the 300 block of W. Fourth Street.
In the 1500 block of S. Gregg Street.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 72 inmates at the time of this report.
• JAY CHANCELLOR, 30, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a probated judgment – three days in jail as term of probation.
• JESSICA MARIE MARLAR, 33, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on assault causing family violence – family violence.
• ROSAELBA FRANCO MORENO, 53, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by another agency on a charge of driving while intoxicated – third or more offense.
• LARRY JAMES STERLING, 53, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of criminal mischief – more than $500 and less than $1,500.
• AURORA CANTU, 27, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a Lubbock warrant for theft with two previous convictions and a Hale County warrant for motion to revoke – possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• DEVON OLSEN, 62, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• LUIS ALEJANDRO RAMOS, 22, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• LEONA JENE RADASA, 29, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• CHARLIE EVERRETT RYERSON, 65, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• AUDREY D. NEWELL, 43, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2900 block of Cherokee. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of W. Seventh. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 4400 block of Wasson Rd. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 32000 block of Parkway. One person was transported to SMMC.
ª TRAUMA was reported in the 2600 block of Gregg Street. Service refused.
