The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• MERRITA CHAMBERS, 58, of 511 N.W. Eighth St., was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• DEVON MARCUS MUSCHARA, 20, of 2911 W. Highway 80 Apt. 120, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for hindering secured creditors – more than $20 and less than $500.
• MARIO ROBERT OVALLE, 38, of 305 E. 19th St., was arrested Thursday on warrants for no driver's license – when unlicensed and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
• ERIC DEWAYNE BERRY, 22, OF 2003 N. Monticello, was arrested Thursday on a warrant from another agency and warrants for expired motor vehicle inspection certificate and failure to appear.
• ALEX FRANKLIN MINTER, 19, of 2509 Gunter, was arrested Thursday on a warrant from another agency.
• BLAKE WAYNE CARPENTER, 27, of Colorado, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication..
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
In the 800 block of E. 11th Place.
In the area of Anderson Elementary.
In the 300 block of N.E. Eighth Street.
• ASSAULT was reported in the area of FM 820 north of Coahoma.
• FORGERY was reported in the 1200 block of S. Gregg Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 67 inmates at the time of this report.
• GLORIA K. LUNA LOZANO, 44, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a judgement sentence for possession of marijuana less than two ounce.
• DEVON MARCUS MUSCHARA, 20, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of hinder secured creditors more than or equal to $20 and less than $500.
• MARIO ROBERT OVALLE, ,38, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a capias warrant for failure to maintain financial responsibility and no drivers license.
• ERIC DWAYNE BERRY, 22, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on charges of criminal trespass, expired motor vehicle inspection and failure to appear.
• ALEX FRANKLIN MINTER, 19, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on charges of bail jumping and failure to appear.
• BLAKE WAYNE CARPENTER, 27, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of W. Third. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3600 block of W. Hwy 80. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of N. 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3200 block of Parkway. One person was transported to SMMC.
