The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• MICHAEL ANGELO GARZA, 23, of 601 N.W. Fifth St., was arrested Thursday on a charge of evading arrest/detention.
• AISHA MALIK, 22, of 3304 W. Highway 80 Apt. 40, was arrested Thursday on a charge of assault – family violence.
• BRANDON DENNIS OLIVETTI, 19, of 1403 Oil Mill Rd., was arrested Thursday on a charge of assault – family violence.
• AVEL ABREO RAMIREZ, 64, of 1512 Wood, was arrested Thursday on charges of theft – less than $1,500 with two or more previous convictions and theft – shoplifting.
• KARISSA RICQUEL MITCHELL, 26, of 1408 Tucson, was arrested Thursday on warrants for driving while license invalid, failure to appear (two counts) and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
• MARIA IRMA MENDOZA, 37, of 1002 N. Main St. Apt. 2, was arrested Thursday on a charge of theft - shoplifting.
• ISREAL EASY FRANCO, 25, of Snyder, was arrested Thursday on a charge of theft – shoplifting.
• ALBERT LAWRENCE HICKS III, 38, of 1425 E. Sixth St. Apt. 102, was arrested Thursday on charges of assault – family violence and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
• DAVID RUSSELL BARTLEY, 25, of Clyde, was arrested Friday on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
• MATTHEW DELAYNE VAUGHAN, 30, of Pottsboro, was arrested Thursday on warrants for burglary of a habitation and theft of a firearm.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 1500 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 200 block of W. FM 700.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:

• MICHAEL ANGELO GARZA, 23, was booked into the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of evading arrest or detention.
• KARISSA RICQUEL MITCHELL, 26, was booked into the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on charges of driving while license invalid, violation of promise to appear (two counts) and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
• MATTHEW DELAYNE VAUGHAN, 30, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on charges of possession of a stolen firearm and burglary of a habitation.
• BRANDON DENNIS OLIVETTE, 19, was booked into the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of assault – family violence.
• MARIA IRMA MENDOZA, 37, was booked into the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of theft of property – more than $50 and less than $500.
• AISHA MALIK, 22, was booked into the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of assault – family violence.

• ALBERT LAWRENCE HICKS III, 38, was booked into the county jail Friday by the BSPD on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault of a family/household member.
• DAVID RUSSELL BARTLEY, 25, was booked into the county jail Friday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1100 block of Lamesa Highway. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
