The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• CARLOS G. DIAZ, 22, of 600 Johnson, was arrested Tuesday on warrants for open container in a motor vehicle – driver and expired registration.
• PALADIO GARZA JR., 30, of 3100 Webb Lane, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction.
• ALEXANDER QUINTANA, 31, of 610 N.W. Seventh St., was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for assault causing bodily injury.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 75 inmates at the time of this report.
• ALEXANDER QUINTANA, 31, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on judgments/sentences for assault causing bodily injury (two counts).
• CARLOS GUILLERMO DIAZ, 22, was booked into the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on municipal warrants for open contain in vehicle – driver and displaying expired registration.
• PALADIO GARZA JR., 30, was booked into the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• LYNDELL BURL KNOX II, 28, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of speeding and a municipal warrant for speeding in a school zone.
• ZABRINA LOZANO, 25, was booked into the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of W. 17th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2600 block of Ann Drive. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1300 block of Lincoln. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2400 block of Morrison. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of 11th Place. One person was transported to SMMC.
• STRUCTURE FIRE was reported in the area of Tucson.
