The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• SHAWNA DAWN GRAYSON, 41, of 3905 E. Interstate Highway 20 Apt. 10A, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency and a charge of shoplifting – more than $50 and less than $500.
• SHAWN CARR II, 32, of 2504 Gunter, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency and a charge of failure to identify as a fugitive – giving false information.
• TRAVIS ALLEN MELTON III, 32, of 407 S. Lancaster, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for forgery of a financial instrument.
• JOHN EDWARD MOSS, 52, of Oklahoma City, Okla., was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• MELANIE WILLIAMS, 31, of Anaheim, Calif., was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 200 block of W. FM 700.
In the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.
In the 1000 block of S. Gregg Street.
• STOLEN VEHICLE was reported in the 2600 block of W. Highway 80.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 800 block of Anna.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 67 inmates at the time of this report.
• DARRYL LEE MILLER, 37, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for theft of service – more than $500 and less than $1,500.
• AUSTIN DERROLD HUNT, 17, was booked into the county detention center Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana in a drug free zone – two ounces or less.
• MICHAEL BOOTH, 23, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on charges of speeding, driving while license invalid and violation of a promise to appear.
• SARAH JANE SMITH, 23, was booked into the county detention center Tuesday by the BSPD on municipal capias warrants for expired motor vehicle inspection certificate (two counts).
• PEDRO SOTO VALDIVIA, 33, was booked into the county detention center Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of disregarding a stop sign.
• WAYNE VAUGHN BATEMAN, 21, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on municipal warrants for violation of a promise to appear (two counts), expired motor vehicle inspection certificate, failure to maintain financial responsibility, no driver's license and failure to appear (two counts).
• MELANIE WILLIAMS, 31, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on Nacogdoches County warrants for failure to appear – theft by check and bail jumping – failure to appear.
• JOHN EDWARD MOSS, 52, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of public intoxication.
• MARTIN DOMINGUEZ, 25, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• ZACK MONROE TURMAN, 35, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on charges of burglary of a habitation (three counts).
• SHAWN CARR II, 32, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of failure to identify as a fugitive – giving false information and a California parole warrant.
• SHAWNA DAWN CRENSHAW, 41, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of theft of property with two or more prior convictions – more than $1,500.
• TRAVIS ALLEN MELTON III, 32, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on a motion to revoke probation for forgery of a financial instrument.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1400 block of Lincoln. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2600 block of Ann. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 800 block of Timothy. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2200 block of Alabama. One person was transported to SMMC.
