The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• CHRISTINA JEAN DIAZ, 28, of 610 N.W. Eighth St., was arrested Tuesday on a warrant from another agency and a warrant for no driver's license – when unlicensed.
• MICHAEL THOMAS MERRILL, 33, of New Orleans, La., was arrested Tuesday on a charge of public intoxication and use or possession of illegal smoking paraphernalia.
• ALLEN TRISTAN JACKSON, 27, of 1500 Wood, was arrested Tuesday on four warrants from other agencies and warrants for failure to appear (four counts) and disregarding a stop sign.
• BENITA KAY PADRON, 38, of 1300 Virginia St., was arrested Tuesday on a charge of violatiuon of a protective order.
• JOE CRUZ GUTIERREZ, 24, of 1010 N.W. Second St., was arrested Tuesday on a warrant from another agency.
• FIDEL GALVAN, 17, of 2611 Cindy, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of no driver's license – when unlicensed.
• WILLIAM SCOTT SIMPSON, 49, of 1300 Stanford, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
• SAMMY FERRELL, 50, of 509 N. Johnson, was arrested Tuesday on warrants for public intoxication with three prior convictions (two counts).
• ADAM MAURIEIO TORRES, 38, of 2504 Hunter, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 900 block of W. Fifth Street.
• THEFT was reported in the:
In the 300 block of Tulane.
In the 5000 block of Sterling Road.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 1600 block of S. Lancaster.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:

• ASHLEY ELAINE ELLISON, 24, was arrested Tuesday on a judgment/sentence for resisting arrest, search or transportation.
• CHRISTINA JEAN DIAZ, 28, was booked into the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a judgment/sentence for possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and a municipal capias warrant for no driver's license.
• ORLANDO TORRES SANCHEZ, 55, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• SAMMY FERRELL, 50, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on judgment/sentence for public intoxication with three or more prior convictions (two counts).
• JACEN BRADLEY STOTT, 55, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for failure to identify – giving false information.
• ALLEN TRISTAN JACKSON, 27, was booked into the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on charges of displaying expired license plate, speeding and violation of a promise to appear and municipal warrants for running a stop sign, violation of a promise to appear, failure to appear (two counts) and a Lubbock County warrants for application to revoke probation for assault of a public servant.
• MICHAEL THOMAS MERRILL, 32, was booked into the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on charges of public intoxication and use/possession of illegal drug paraphernalia.
• BENITA KAY PADRON SALAZAR, 38, was booked into the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of violation of bond – protective order.
• JOE CRUZ GUTIERREZ, 24, was booked into the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of violation of bond – protective order.
• ADAM MAURICIO TORRES, 38, was arrested Tuesday on a motion to revoke probation for possession of a controlled substance.
• FIDEL GALVAN, 17, was booked into the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of no driver's license.
• WILLIAM SCOTT SIMPSON, 49, was booked into the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the area of Canterbury North. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 200 block of S. Moss Lake Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 400 block of Donley. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 100 block of Carey. One person was transported to SMMC.
