The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday:
• JACQUELINE KAY RAINER, 21, of 1900 Martin Luther King Boulevard 108, was arrested Monday on warrants for driving while license invalid and fail to appear.
• ROBERT RENTERIA, 48, general delivery, was arrested Monday on a charge of public intoxication.
• GARY MONTEZ, 21, of 1018 Ridgeroad St., was arrested Monday on a warrant for theft less than $50.
• RICHARD ELISHA NELSON, 18, of 914 Angela Rd., was arrested Monday on a charge of possession of marijuana less than or equal to two ounces.
• CHRISTOPHER NEWTON VINES, 28, of 5323 S. 17th Terr, was arrested Monday on charges of public intoxication and open container in a motor vehicle/driver.
• GLENN JOE THOMPSON, 40, of 1111 Jeffrey Rd., was arrested Monday on a charge of assault/family violence threat or offensive touch.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 1600 block of S. Lancaster Street.
In the 1800 block of S. Gregg Street.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 2600 block of Dow Drive.
• BURGLARY OF HABITATION was reported in the 600 block of W. 17th Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 75 inmates at the time of this report.
• JACQUELINE KAY RAINER, 21, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a municipal warrant for driving while license invalid and failure to appear.
• CHRISTOPHER NEWTON VINES, 28, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the HCSO on charges of public intoxication and open container in a motor vehicle-driver.
• CASSIE CHRISTINE CANTU, 23, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a municipal warrant for theft and assault causes bodily injury.
• ROBERTO RENTERIA, 48, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• GARY MONTEZ, 21, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a municipal warrant for theft.
• RICHARD ELISHA NELSON, 18, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana.
• GLENN JOE THOMPSON, 40, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a charge of assault family violence threat or offensive touch.
• TINA AUSBIE, 24, was arrested Tuesday on warrants by the HCSO on a charge of possession of marijuana less than or equal to two ounces in drug free zone.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported at VAMC. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 4200 block of Parkway. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of S. Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1300 block of S. Gregg. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3300 block of E. FM 700. One person was transported to SMMC.
