The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity Wednesday and early Thursday:
• ROBERT RUBEN SANCHEZ, 46, 1023 Stadium, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
• SAMANTHA JUNE VASQUEZ, 22, 823 W. Seventh, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, search or transport, and possession of marijuana under two ounces.
• TIFFNEY LEE TINDOL, 31, 2516 Fairchild, was arrested on a warrant charging criminal mischief.
• WILLIAM LANE ROTHELL, 34, 9500 Ranch Rd. 33, was arrested on a warrant charging terroristic threat.
• JIMMY D. VEGA, 28, 510 S. Donley, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
• JOE CRUZ GUTIERREZ, 23, 1010 N.W. Second, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana under two ounces.
• YESENIA LEDESMA, 23, Odessa, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
• ELDA BERNAL, 40, 1304 Kindle, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
• NORA VALLES LUEVANO, 52, 1410 Bluebird, was arrested on two warrants from other agencies, and warrants charging backed so as to interfere, duty on striking unattended vehicle, failure to maintain financial responsibility and four counts of failure to appear.
• ANDREW JUAREZ, 21, was arrested on warrants charging evading arrest or detention, driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana under two ounces, consumption of alcohol by a minor, two counts of assault by contact, two counts of failure to appear, and two warrants from other agencies.
• TIMOTHY LUIS SANCHEZ, 243, 1900 Martin Luther King No. 105, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 2600 block of Dow and the 2600 block of Calvin.
• THEFT was reported in the 800 block of S. Gregg.

The Howard County Sheriff's Office reported the following activity Wednesday and early Thursday (66 prisoners were reported in the county jail):
• WILLIAM LANE ROTHELL, 34, was jailed on a charge of terroristic threat.
• JOE CRUZ GUTIERREZ, 23, was jailed on a charge of possession of marijuana under two ounces.
• YESENIA SAUCEDA LEDESMA, 23, was jailed on a charge of public intoxication.
• ELDA MELINA BERNAL, 40, was jailed on a charge of public intoxication.
• RAYMOND OVERTON JR., 31, was jailed on a charge of driving while license invalid.
• NORA VALLES LEUVANO, 52, was jailed on warrants charging assault, theft by check, illegal/unsafe backing, failure to comply with requirements upon striking unattended vehicle, failure to maintain financial responsibility, second offense, and four counts of failure to appear.
• ANDREW JUAREZ JR., 21, was arrested on warrants charging two counts of evading arrest or detention, driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana under two ounces, minor consuming alcohol, two counts of assault, tampering with a governmental record, and two counts of failure to appear.
• JIMMY DALE VEGA, 28, was jailed on a charge of public intoxication.
• TIMOTHY LOUIS SANCHEZ, 24, was jailed on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

The Big Spring Fire Department/Emergency Medical Service reported the following activity Wednesday and early Thursday:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of Central. Service was refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3200 block of Parkway. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 2000 block of Johnson. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of Lancaster. Service was refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of Lancaster. Service was refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of Veterans. One person was transported to SMMC.
