The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• ALBERTO HOLGUIN MENDOZA, 67, of 406 N.W. 11th St., was arrested Tuesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• MICHAEL DON FULBRIGHT, 47, of 900 Runnels, was arrested Tuesday on warrants for public intoxication, speeding in a school zone and a warrant from another agency.
• RAY MARTINEZ ALVARADO, 34, of 1500 Lincoln Ave., was arrested Tuesday on charges of injury to a child with intent to cause bodily injury (two counts).
• SETH DAVID MITCHELL, 28, of 1705 Hilltop Rd., was arrested Tuesday on a charge of assault – family violence.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 700 block of W. Interstate Highway 20.
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 800 block of S. Gregg Street.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 1600 block of Martin Luther King Blvd.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 72 inmates at the time of this report.
• SABRINA VALENCIA MADRID, 27, was arrested Tuesday on a municipal capias warrant for driving while license invalid.
• OSCAR MANUEL MADRID JR., 30, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on municipal warrants for driving while license invalid and failure to appear.
• MELVIN KEITH BROWNFIELD, 68, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for driving while intoxicated – blood alcohol more than 0.15.
• AVELARDO CASTILLO JR., 22, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a motion to revoke probation for possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• ALBERT HOLGUIN MENDOZA, 67, was booked into the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• MICHAEL DON FULBRIGHT, 47, was booked into the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on municipal capias warrants for speeding in a school zone – 40 mph in a 20 mph zone, public intoxication and a Dawson County warrant for driving while intoxicated – with two or more offenses.
• SETH DAVID MITCHELL, 28, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of assault – family violence.
• RAY ALVARADO, 34, was booked into the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on charges of injury to a child with intent to cause bodily injury (two counts).

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 800 block of Aylesford. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of 11th Place and Goliad. Four people were transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of Cardinal. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
