The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• LEE TORRES ESCOBAR, 33, of 811 E. 16th St., was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• BRODIE LEE DUNN, 32, of 1706 Young St., was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• JASON ORTEGA, 30, of 1208 Lloyd, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of assault – family violence.
• RACHEL NIKOLE GONZALES, 22, of 2330 N. Highway 208 Apt. 14 in Colorado City, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency.
• BERNARDO FRAUSTO PEREZ JR., 47, of 2910 Cherokee, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• ROBERT RUBEN SANCHEZ, 47, of 1405 Wood, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of disorderly conduct – language.
• LONNIE BORDEN LOVERN, 30, of Graford, Texas, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• JIM TRAVIS COKER, 61, of 208 Moore Rd., was arrested Wednesday on charges of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction and possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• ASSAULT was reported:
Near the intersection of Sixth Street and Holbert.
In the 500 block of Birdwell Lane.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 3600 block of E. 11th Place.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 3300 block of E. FM 700.
In the 3200 block of Parkway.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 62 inmates at the time of this report.
• JIM TRAVIS COKER, 61, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on charges of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction and possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• ROBERT RUBIN SANCHEZ, 47, was booked into the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of disorderly conduct – language.
• RACHEL NIKOLE GONZALES, 22, was booked into the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a Mitchell County warrant for theft of property.
• BERNARDO FRAUSTO PEREZ JR., 47, was booked into the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• VIVIANNA DANIELLA SARMIENTO, 29, was booked into the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on charges of possession of a controlled substance and interference with police duty.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 200 block of Jefferson. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported in the 1600 block of Gregg Street. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2300 block of Brent. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 400 block of S. Adams in Coahoma. Service refused.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1700 block of Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of Highway 350 and FM 1229. Two people were transported to SMMC.
