The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• ADAM ANTHONY STARR, 27, of 802 E. 14th St., was arrested Thursday on a warrant from another agency.
• KATHERINE DELORIS SCAGGS, 41, of 201 N. Scurry, was arrested Thursday on a warrant from another agency and warrants for failure to identify – giving false information and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• JUNIOR JONES, 25, of 1710 S. Austin, was arrested Thursday on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction.
• ANDREA DENISE ALENDER, 39, of 1615 Cardinal, was arrested Thursday on a charge of theft – shoplifting.
• EDDRAY SMITH, 18, of 1002 N. Main St. Apt. 68, was arrested Thursday on a charge of possession of marijuana in a drug free zone – more than two ounces and less than four ounces.
• ENRIQUE VASQUEZ, 64, of El Paso, Texas, was arrested Thursday on a charge of theft – shoplifting.
• PAUL MORENO, 49, of 616 Caylor, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for interfering with an emergency phone call.
• JACKIE DOYLE RICHEY JR., 49, of 700 E. 15th St., was arrested Thursday on warrants for burglary of a building, theft – more than $1,500 and less than $20,000 and theft – more than $50 and less that $500.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 700 block of W. Interstate Highway 20.
• STOLEN VEHICLE was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
• BURGLARY OF A COIN OPERATED MACHINE was reported in the 1000 block of E. Second Street.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 200 block of W. FM 700.
In the 200 block of W. FM 700.
In the 1600 block of Runnels.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 1200 block of Johnson.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 70 inmates at the time of this report.
• ADAM ANTHONY STARR, 27, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of assault causing bodily injury.
• PAUL MENDEZ MORENO, 49, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a municipal warrant for interfering with an emergency phone call.
• JUNIOR JONES, 25, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• KATHERINE DELORES SCAGGS, 41, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on two Austin parole warrants and local warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to identify as a fugitive – giving false information.
• SCOTT RANDALL WHITLOW, 34, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of failure to appear – aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
• ANDREA DENISE ALENDER, 39, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of theft of property – more than $50 and less than $500.
• JACKIE DOYLE RICHEY JR., 49, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on charges of theft of property – more than $1,500 and less than $20,000 (two counts), burglary of a building and theft of property – more than $50 and less than $500.
• EDDRAY DESHON SMITH, 18, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana in a drug free zone – more than two ounces and less than four ounces.
• ENRIQUE VASQUEZ, 64, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of theft of property – more than $50 and less than $500.
• ZYON GONZALEZ, 34, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on a charge of assault causing bodily injury to a family member.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2600 block of Chanute. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of Tucson. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of Wood. One person was transported to SMMC.
