The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• CURTIS THOMPSON, 52, of 500 S. Goliad St., was arrested Thursday on a charge of possession of marijuana less than or equal to two ouncesw.
• KACI MICHELLE CARSON, 25, of 405 Westover, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for disregard stop sign and expired motor vehicle inspection certificate.
• CHARLIE JAKE TURNER JR., 32, of 900 S. Aylesford St., was arrested Friday on a charge of possession drug paraphernalia.
• FELICIA CANALES, 23, of 906 E. 12th St., was arrested Friday on a charge of public intoxication.
• MICHAEL GUNTER, 25, of Dow St., was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• JESSE RENE LOPEZ, 25, of 114 Hooser Rd., was arrested Thursday on a warrant for assault: family violence-threat or offensive touch.
• BURGLARY OF HABITATION was reported in the 1600 block of E. Sixth Street.
• THEFT was reported in the 900 block of Willia Street.

The Howard County Sheriff's Office reported the following activity Thursday and early today (Note: officials reported 63 prisoners in the jail):
• KACI MICHELLE, 25, was transferred to the county detention center Thursday by BSPD on a charge of running stop sign and expired motor vehicle inspection.
• JESSE RENE LOPEZ, 25, was arrested Thursday by HCSO on a charge of assault—family violence.
• CHARLIE JAKE TURNER, 32, was transferred to the county detention center by BSPD on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.

The Big Spring Fire Department/Emergency Medical Service reported the following activity Thursday and early today:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 800 block of W. Sixth. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of N.W. 10th. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of Veterans Boulevard. One person was transported to SMMC.
• AUTOMOBILE FIRE was reported at mile marker 171 of Interstate 20.
