The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. today:
• CARLETTA MICHELLE MCKINNEY, 43, of 4102 Muir St., was arrested Monday on a warrant for criminal trespass of a habitation/shelter.
• JARRETT THEODRIC EVANS, 26, of 1313 Kindle, was arrested Monday on a charge of urinating in a public place.
• SAMMY FERRELL, 50, of 509 N. Johnson, was arrested Monday on a charge of public intoxication.
• STEVEN DOUGLAS ELDER, 21, of 1900 Martin Luther King Blvd. Apt. 513, was arrested Monday on a charge of assault causing bodily injury – family violence.
• ISRAEL RODRIQUEZ, 28, of 901 Timothy Lane, was arrested Monday on a warrant from another agency.
• MITCHELL LON JAMES, 56, of 907 Saunders, was arrested Monday on a charge of assault – family violence.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 3600 block of Calvin.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 900 block of Saunders.
In the 1200 block of E. 16th Street.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 3200 block of E. Interstate Highway 20.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 3200 block of Cornell.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 69 inmates at the time of this report.
• CARLETTA MCKINNEY, 43, was booked into the county detention center Monday by the BSPD on a charge of criminal trespass.
• JARRETT THEODRIC EVANS, 26, was booked into the county detention center Monday by the BSPD on a charge of urinating in a public place.
• STEVEN DOUGLAS ELDER, 21, was booked into the county detention center Monday by the BSPD on a charge of assault causing bodily injury – family violence.
• ISRAEL FRANCISCO RODRIQUEZ, 28, was booked into the county detention center Monday by the BSPD on a charge of theft of property – more than $500 and less than $1,500.
• SAMMY FERRELL, 50, was booked into the county detention center Monday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of S. Gregg Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of Colgate. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of W. Fourth Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 400 block of S. Adams in Coahoma. One person was transported to SMMC.
