The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• EDWARD GARCIA JR., 33, of 642 Manor Lane, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for criminal mischief – more than $500 and less than $1,500.
• JERRY MITCHELL MARCON, 20, of 1002 N. Main St. Apt. 55, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of criminal mischief – more than $50 and less than $500.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 2500 block of Chanute.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 4200 block of W. Highway 80.
In the 900 block of Settles.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported in the 1900 block of Mittel.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 66 inmates at the time of this report.
• WILLIAM DEAN WOODARD, 42, was arrested Tuesday on a judgment/sentence for driving while intoxicated – third or more offense.
• MARCUS ARMENDAREZ, 48, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• ERICK DAVE HERNANDEZ, 33, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for driving while intoxicated.
• EDWARD GARCIA, 33, was booked into the county detention center Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of criminal mischief – more than $500 and less than $1,500.
• JERRY MITCHELL MARCON, 20, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of criminal mischief – family violence.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of Lamar. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the area of Bucknell Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2000 block of W. Highway 80. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of Sgt. Paredez. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2000 block of W. Fourth Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2000 block of N. Salem Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1100 block of Ridgeroad. One person was transported to SMMC.
• GRASS FIRE was reported in the area of U.S. Highway 350.
