The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• ADAM MARCUS ORRANTIA, 24, of 500 E. 11th Place, was arrested Wednesday on warrants for driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction and three warrants from other agencies.
• JOSEPH ALTON MURLEY, 33, of 1405 Tucson, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction.
• MARCUS ARMENDAREZ, 48, of 1008 N. Gregg St., was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 900 block of Settles.
In the 100 block of E. FM 700.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 900 block of N. Lamesa Highway.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
In the 400 block of N. Gregg Street.
In the 1800 block of E. FM 700.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 600 block of E. Sixth Street.
• FORGERY was reported at American State Bank.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 66 inmates at the time of this report.
• ADAM MARCUS ORRANTIA, 24, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on charges of speeding, failure to display driver's license, violation of a promise to appear and a municipal warrant for driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• JOSEPH ALTON MURLEY, 33, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension and a municipal warrant for driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• RICKIE LEE MUNIZ, 43, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• JOSHUA DAVID HARRINGTON, 22, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of theft by check – more than $20 and less than $500 and municipal capias warrants for failure to maintain financial responsibility and driving while license invalid.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1100 block of E. 13th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of E. 16th Street. Service refused.
