The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• CHRISTOPHER RYAN COLEGROVE, 20, of 1311 Madison, was arrested Wednesday on charges of evading arrest or detention, disorderly conduct – fighting, failure to appear (eight counts), driving without safety belt secured, criminal mischief – more than $500 and less than $1,500 and a warrant from another agency.
• ANDRES NIETO, 42, of 1901 Hilltop Rd., was arrested Wednesday on a charge of failure to stop and render aid injury/death.
• VIRGINIA LOUISA DUENEZ, 43, of 6412 N. County Rd. 25, was arrested Wednesday on charges of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction, expired registration, failure to appear (five counts), driving while license invalid (two counts) and a warrant from another agency.
• ALFONSO BACA III, 30, of 506 State, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for driving while license invalid.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
In the 1900 block of Winston Street.
In the 1300 block of Ridgeroad.
• ASSAULT was reported:
In the 1600 block of Lincoln.
In the 1900 block of N. Highway 87.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 1000 block of Wood Street.
• THEFT was reported in the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:

• MORGAN LEE WATSON, 49, was booked into the county detention center Tuesday by the BSPD on municipal capias warrants for expired driver's license (two counts), violation of a promise to appear (two counts), failure to appear (two counts), failure to maintain financial responsibility (two counts), weedy lot – first offense and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
• DONALD CRAIG BAKER, 40, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a motion to revoke probation for forgery of a financial instrument.
• LAHOMA L. JURDAN, 43, was booked into the county detention center Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of assault causing bodily injury.
• MATTHEW LEON BURNETT, 17, was booked into the county detention center Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of criminal trespass.
• ROBERT RUBIN SANCHEZ, 48, was booked into the county detention center Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• RONALD HASELBY, 61, was booked into the county detention center Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• DAVID LUERA, 50, was booked into the county detention center Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• ALFONSO BACA III, 30, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSPO on a municipal capias warrant for driving while license invalid.
• ANDRES NIETO, 42, was arrested Wednesday by DPS on charges of accident involving serious bodily injury/death, prohibited substance/item in a correctional institute and driving while intoxicated.
• CHRISTOPHER RYAN COLEGROVE, 20, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on charges of evading arrest or detention, disorderly conduct – fighting, failure to appear (eight counts), driving without safety belt secured, criminal mischief – more than $500 and less than $1,500 and a warrant from another agency.
• BILLY DEWAYNE SCOTT, 29, was arrested Wednesday by DPS on a charge of driving while intoxicated – third or more offense.
• RUBEN MONTES GARCES, 41, was arrested Wednesday by DPS on Texas Department of Public Safety warrants for manslaughter (two counts).
• VIRGINIA LOUISA DUENEZ, 43, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on charges of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction, expired registration, failure to appear (five counts), driving while license invalid (two counts) and a warrant from another agency.
• CAROLYN JEAN HANKE, 17, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor.
• MELISSA YOUNG, 43, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on municipal warrants for hindering a police officer, speeding in a school zone, failure to use safety seat for child less than 8 years of age and no driver's license.
