The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• CAROLYN HANKE, 17, of 704 Borden Rd., was arrested Thursday on a charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor.
• MELISSA GAY YOUNG, 43, of 704 Highland Dr., was arrested Thursday on a warrant for hindering officers discharging official duties, speeding in school zone, safety seat system-child younger than 8 or less than 4'9” tall.
• LORENZO TORRES RAMIREZ, 27, of 410 W. Eighth St., was arrested Thursday on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
• MELISSA VELASQUEZ URANGA, 47, of 4400 Beachnut, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for theft more than $50 all other.
• PAUL ARCIDES CABALLERO, 43, of Lubbock, was arrested Thursday on a warrant from other agency.
• KENNIESHA MARIE NIETO, 18, of 904 S. Aylesford, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for violate operate/driver license restriction (specify).
• MICHAEL WILSON CARL, 28, of 117 W. Davis Rd., was arrested Thursday on a warrant for fail to appear, speeding, violation protective order-assault/stalking.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported:
In the 700 block of E. I-20.
In the 600 block of W. I H-20.
In the 1100 block of N. Aylesford Street.
In the 600 block of W. I H-20.
In the 500 block of W. Fourth Street.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 1400 block of Hilltop Road.
In the 2200 block of Alabama.
• FORGERY was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 71 inmates at the time of this report.
• LORENZO TORRES RAMIREZ, 27, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by BSPD on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
• ROLANDO TORREZ MARTINEZ, 36, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by DPSM on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
• MELISSA VELASQUEZ, 47, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by BSPD on a municipal warrant for theft.
• KENNIOSHA NIETO, 18, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by BSPD on a municipal warrant for vilate driver license restriction.
• MICHAEL WILSON CARL, 28, was arrested Friday by HCSO on a warrant for violate bond/protective order, speeding — 75 mph/55 mph, violate promise to appear, assault causes bodily injury family member.
• PAUL ARCIDES CABALLERO, 43, was transferred to the county jail Friday by BSPD on a charge of probation vioaltion — U.S. Marshals.
• CHRISTOPHER GENE BAKER, 26, was arrested Friday by HCSO on a charge of motion to adjudicate theft between $20,000 and $100,000.
• JAMES RICHARD TAYLOR, 58, was arrested Friday by HCSO on a charge of assault by threat.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of Highland. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of S. Birdwell. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of N. Hwy 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 800 block of Andree. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of E. Fifth. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of NW Seventh. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 4500 block of Palm. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 100 block of E. 13th. One person was transported to SMMC.
• GRASS FIRE was reported in the 1200 block of E. 15th. Extinguished.
