The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• BILLY VASQUEZ HERNANDEZ, 49, of 1304 Lamar, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency.
• DELWIN LEWIS, 28, of 804 W. Interstate Highway 20, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency.
• SALENA MARIE TAYLOR, 33, of 3305 Cornell, was arrested Wednesday on eight warrants from other agencies.
• JOE LOUIS SANCHEZ, 52, of 2409 S. Scurry, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 1400 block of E. Sixth Street.
• THEFT was reported in the 200 block of W. FM 700.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 72 inmates at the time of this report.
• WESLEY JAMES SHOUP, 44, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for intoxication assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury.
• DELWIN LEWIS, 28, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a Bernalillo County warrant for failure to appear – breaking and entering.
• BILLY VASQUEZ HERNANDEZ, 49, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on an Austin parole warrant for violation of parole.
• SALENA MARIE TAYLOR, 33, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on municipal warrants for driving while license invalid (two counts), failure to maintain financial responsibility, failure to control speed, violation of a promise to appear (two counts), expired motor vehicle inspection certificate and failure to appear.
• JOE LOUIS SANCHEZ, 52, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of public intoxication.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1700 block of Morrison. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1600 block of Sunset. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of E. 17th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of E. 16th Street. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1100 block of Gregg Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 300 block of E. Eighth Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2400 block of Scurry. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of Indian Hills. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of Johnson. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3600 block of Piper Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
