The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• GILBERT RECIO, 38, of 1007 Wood, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• MICHAEL SCOTT WATTS, 27, of 303 Vikki Rd., was arrested Thursday on a charge of failure to display court order (occupational license).
• NANCY ANN ARENIVAZ, 45, of 910 S. Nolan, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• ANTHONY ALPHONSO LEWIS, 41, of 809 E. 15th St., was arrested Thursday on charges of evading arrest or detention using a vehicle and driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction.
• ANDREW JUAREZ JR., 23, of 411 Trades, was arrested Thursday on charges of evading arrest or detention with a previous conviction, driving while intoxicated – second offense and duty on striking fixture or landscaping.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 900 block of San Antonio.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 1400 block of Stadium.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 68 inmates at the time of this report.
• ANTHONY ALPHONSO LEWIS, 41, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension and a Franco County warrant for conviction/suspension without fine resolution for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.
• ANDREW JUAREZ, 23, was booked into the county detention center Friday by the BSPD on charges of evading arrest or detention with a previous conviction, driving while intoxicated – second offense and duty on striking fixture or highway landscape.
• LUCAS SHANE HUGHES, 31, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on charges of theft of property – more than $50 and less than $500 (two counts), failure to appear – theft from a person and municipal warrants for no motorcycle endorsement (two counts), violation of a promise to appear, assault – family violence and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of Driver Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of Jim Long Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of Baylor and FM 700. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 400 block of S. Main Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of W. Interstate Highway 20. One person was air lifted from the scene.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of Kentucky Way. One person was transported to SMMC.
• GRASS FIRE was reported near the 178 mile marker of Interstate Highway 20.
