The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• ALEXANDER TAPIA, 27, of 1315 Park St., was arrested Tuesday on a warrant from another agency.
• NATHANIEL DEVON LANG, 18, of 1505 Johnson St., was arrested Tuesday on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and failure to identify as a fugitive – giving false information.
• BILLY CHRISTENSEN, 25, of Snyder, Texas, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of shoplifting (theft) – more than $50 and less than $500.
• THEFT was reported in the 400 block of S. Birdwell Lane.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 3900 block of E. Highway 350.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported in the 1600 block of E. Sixth Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 77 inmates at the time of this report.
• JOHN GREGORY STONE, 27, was arrested Tuesday by Glasscock County on an out of state warrant/aggravated rape.
• JOE DAVID FLORES JR., 41, was arrested Tuesday by HCSO on a charge of driving while intoxicated and DWI (second offense).
• PATRICK TERRALL KESLER, 33, was transferred Tuesday to the county detention center by BSPD on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
• COMANECKI OLYN LOPER, 31, was transferred Tuesday to the county detention center by BSPD on a charge of manufacture/delivery of controlled substance between four grams and 200 grams.
• BRANDON LYNN WHITE, 24, was transferred Tuesday to the county detention center by BSPD on charges of prohibited weapons switchblade/knuckles and driving while license invalid.
• BILLY GENE CHRISTENSEN III, 25, was transferred Tuesday to the county detention center by BSPD on a charge of theft of property between $50 and $500.
• BROOKE RIOS, 23, was transferred Tuesday to the county detention center by BSPD on a charge of speeding — 60 mph in a 50 mph zone, fail to maintain financial responsibility and violate promise to appear.
• LASHEKKA GALLEGOS, 23, was transferred Tuesday to the county detention center by BSPD on charges of theft of property between 50 to $500, possession of controlled substance less than one gram, possession of dangerous drug and false/fictitious information possession drug paraphernalia.
• DAVID CORNELIUS WESTBROOK, 18, was transferred Tuesday to the county detention center by BSPD on a charge of failure to attend school.
• NATHANIEL DEVON LANG, 18, was transferred Tuesday to the county detention center by BSPD on charges of fail to identify fugitive intent to give false information, possession of marijuana less than two ounces, abscond while on parole/sexual assault.
• ALEXANDER TAPIA, 27, was transferred Tuesday to the county detention center Tuesday by Midland County and BSPD on a charge of theft of property more than $50 and less than $500.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 900 block of Golf Course Road. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported near mile marker 185 of Interstate Highway 20. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of Bluebonnet. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 900 block of N. McDonald Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 800 block of Jeffery Road. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of Wasson Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• GRASS FIRE was reported in the 200 block of N.E. Ninth Street.
• AUTOMOBILE FIRE was reported in the 500 block of W. Fourth Street.
