The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• VALERIE MIRAMONTES GARCIA, 27, of 411 N. Scurry, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency.
• MARTIN DIAZ JR., 19, of 1611 E. Fifth St., was arrested Wednesday on charges of evading arrest or detention, unlawfully carrying a weapon in a weapon-free zone and possession of marijuana in a drug free zone – two ounces or less.
• DONNIE RODRIGUEZ JR., 20, of 2005 S. Runnels, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of possession of marijuana in a drug free zone – two ounces or less.
• IVAN NAVEJAS OLIVA, 18, of 1404 Sycamore, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of possession of marijuana in a drug free zone – two ounces or less.
• RAMIRO MARQUEZ, 22, of 2005 Runnels, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of possession of marijuana in a drug free zone – two ounces or less.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported was reported in the 4200 block of Oak.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported in the 800 block of Settles.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 72 inmates at the time of this report.
• MARK ANTHONY CHAVERA, 23, was arrested Wednesday by HCSO on a charge of driving while license invalid/capias.
• RAMIRO VALENCIA MARQUEZ, 22, was transferred to the county detention center Thursday by BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana between two ounces and four ounces in a drug free zone.
• MARTIN DIAZ JR., 19, was transferred to the county detention center Thursday by BSPD on a charge of bail jumping and fail to appear, possession of marijuana less than or equal to two ounces in a drug free zone, evading arrest detention, unlawfully carrying a weapon in a weapons free zone, fraudulent use of ID information and tampering with government records.
• DONNIE RODRIGUEZ, 20, was transferred to the county detention center Thursday by BSPD on a charge for possession of marijuana less than or equal to two ounces in a drug free zone.
• IVAN OLIVIA NAVEJAS, 18, was transferred to the county detention center Thursday by BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana less than or equal to two ounces in a drug free zone.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of Birdwell. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 900 block of Runnels. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported on Highway 176. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 800 block of E. I-20. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Hwy 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of Nolan. One person was transported to SMMC.
