The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• AVEL ABREO RAMIREZ, 65, of 1512 Wood, was arrested Thursday on charges of evading arrest or detention, public intoxication and theft (shoplifting).
• JIMI LEE PAREDEZ, 25, of 105 W. Eighth St. Apt. C, was arrested Thursday on a warrant from another agency and warrants for interfering with an emergency phone call and criminal trespass and a charge of disorderly conduct – language.
• LATASHA QUIVITTIE WOODSON, 32, of 2512 Fairchild, was arrested Thursday on charges of resisting arrest, search or transportation, possession of a controlled substance, no driver's license – when unlicensed and failure to appear.
• MICHAEL VELINDA ROBERTSON, 30, of 101 Apache in Coahoma, was arrested Thursday on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
• THEFT was reported in the 300 block of S. Owens.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 1100 block of Marijo.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:

• CRYSTAL CLEAR LEE, 29, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger less than 15 years of age.
• AVEL ABREO RAMIREZ, 65, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on charges of public intoxication, theft and evading arrest or detention.
• JIMI LEE PAREDEZ, 25, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a motion to revoke probation for fictitious or counterfeit inspection/insurance document for display and charges of interfering with an emergency phone call, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct – vulgar language.
• LATASHA QUIVETTE WOODSON, 32, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on charges of possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, search or transportation, no driver's license and failure to appear.
• MICHAEL VELINDA ROBERTSON, 30, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
• DONISHA ROSHU MCGEE, 17, was booked into the county detention center Friday by the BSPD on a charge of failure to attend school.
• JOSE ANTHONY NIETO, 31, was booked into the county detention center Friday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• HECTOR MANUEL GONZALEZ JR., 33, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on district court indictments from 2011 for aggravated sexual assault of a child (four counts).
