The Howard County Sheriff's Office reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. today (72 prisoners were reported in the county jail):
• CODY DEAN JAMES, 23, was jailed on charges of public intoxication and urinating in a public place.
• ROSALINDA SAENZ, 29, was jailed on a charge of contempt of court/disobedience of a court order.
• JOHN GERARD ESCOVEDO, 33, was jailed on a charge of contempt of court/disobedience of a court order.
• CARTAVIOUS JEROME GROAGE, 24, was jailed on charges of driving while license invalid, violating promise to appear and contempt of court/disobedience of a court order.
• BILLY THAD METCALF, 37, was jailed on a sentence for driving while intoxicated/third or more offense.
• MERCED FLORES, 30, was jailed on a charge of theft over $1,500/under $20,000.
• MARGIE LOUISE GREEN, 29, was jailed on a charge of public intoxication.
• ISRAEL MIRAMONTES, 28, was jailed on a charge of evading arrest/detention with previous conviction.
• ARNOLD CORONADO VELASCO, 43, was jailed on a charge of public intoxication.
• SYLVIA HERNANDEZ MARTINEZ, 46, was jailed on a charge of public intoxication.
• VALENTIN CALDERON QUINTANA, 35, was jailed on charges of evading arrest/detention and carrying a prohibited weapon.
JOSE ALFREDO RODRIQUEZ, 44, was jailed on a charge of evading arrest/detenion.
• ANTHONY NEIGHBORS, 21, was jailed on a charge of interfering with an emergency call.
• TAMMY EYVONNE MAXWELL, 50, was jailed on a charge of criminal mischief over $500/less than $1,500.
• MARK ANTHONY ROCHA, 36, was jailed on a charge of evading arrest/detention.

The Big Spring Fire Department/Emergency Medical Service reported the following activity Friday through Sunday:
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1900 block of N. Highway 87. One person was tranported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 800 block of Owens. One person was tranported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of S. Lancaster. One person was tranported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of W. Interstate 20. One person was tranported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1400 block of Wood. One person was tranported to SMMC.
• GAS LEAK was reported in the 800 block of Baylor.
• RUBBISH FIRE was reported in the area of Channing and N.W. Third.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 900 block of N.W. Runnels. No transport was reported.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported in the 1100 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transportef via Air Evac.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of Monticello. One person was tranported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of Caylor. One person was tranported to SMMC.
