The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• DAVID WAYNE CROW, 23, of 617 S. McEwen, was arrested Thursday on a charge of possession of marijuana – more than four ounces, less than five pounds.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 600 block of E. Sixth Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 58 inmates at the time of this report.
• BILLY GOBER, 30, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of delivery of marijuana in a drug free zone – more than a one-quarter ounce and less than five pounds and a Midland County warrant for violation of probation.
• DAVID WAYNE CROW, 23, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – more than four ounces, less than five pounds.
• DAVID EUGENE KIRBY, 64, was arrested by the Glasscock County Sheriff's Office and transferred to the county jail Friday on a charge of public intoxication.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAUMA was reported in the 500 block of N.E. 10th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of Main Street. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of Scurry. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of E. 11th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3200 block of Parkway. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of Stanford. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 3000 block of Hamilton. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
