The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• FRANKIE LOPEZ JUAREZ, 43, of 1008 N.W. Second St., was arrested Thursday on a warrant for criminal mischief.
• NAOMI RENEE VILLA, 25, of 2508 Langley, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for assault by contact.
• JOHN QUINN TIDWELL, 60, of 1800 S. Lancaster, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• MARCUS MENDEZ III, 19, of 1511 Johnson, was arrested Thursday on warrants for failure to control speed and public intoxication by a minor.
• DAKOTA K. ANGUIANO, 18, of Irving, Texas, was arrested Thursday on a warrant from another agency and charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• JOSEPH RAY OLIVAS, 22, of 3911 Rice, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 1100 block of N. Lamesa Highway.
In the 800 block of W. Interstate Highway 20.
• CRIMINAL TRESPASS was reported in the 1400 block of S. Main Street.
• ASSAULT was reported:
In the 1000 block of S. Birdwell Lane.
In the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.
In the 1900 block of N. Highway 87.
In the 1000 block of N. Main Street.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 200 block of W. FM 700.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 800 block of W. Interstate Highway 20.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 72 inmates at the time of this report.
• CHRISTOPHER VALDERAS, 25, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the Glasscock County Sheriff's Office on a Glasscock County warrant for driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension and a Hockley County warrant for driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• FRANKIE JUAREZ, 43, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of criminal mischief.
• NAOMI VILLA, 25, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a municipal warrant for assault by contact.
• WESLEY GWYN BRAGGS, 28, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the Glasscock County Sheriff's Office on a judgment/sentence of 30 days (charge not provided).
• MARCOS MENDEZ, 19, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on municipal warrants for failure to control speed and public intoxication by a minor.
• DAVID GRIJALVA MORALES JR., 17, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
• ABIGAIL DAISY VALENCIA, 17, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• JOHN QUINN TIDWELL, 60, was booked into the county detention center Friday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• DAKOTA KADE ANGUIANO, 18, was booked into the county detention center Friday by the BSPD on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and an Austin parole warrant.
• MATTHEW MENDOZA, 33, was booked into the county detention center Friday by the BSPD on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less, driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension, possession of a dangerous drug and failure to identify – giving false information.
• JOSEPH RAY OLIVAS, 22, was booked into the county detention center Friday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3200 block of Fordham. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of S. Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Lamesa. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3200 block of Parkway. One person was transported to SMMC.
• ELECTRICAL FIRE was reported in the 100 block of Moore Road. Fire was out upon arrival.
