The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• JOSE DEJESUS BURCIAGA, 29, of 1443 Hilltop, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of failure to report change of address/name.
• MARK ANTHONY CHAVERA, 24, of 1502 Chickasaw, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency.
• PAUL EUGENE MERRELL, 59, of 1105 Stanford, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• TRISTAN MARCEL WARD, 21, of 711 Abrams, on charges of possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, no driver's license – when unlicensed (two counts), failure to appear (seven counts), disregarding a stop sign, expired registration and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
• MORGAN DION AUSBIE, 18, of 2601 Langley, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.
• JAMAICA ZJORJE AUSBIE, 21, of 903 Sgt. Paredez, was arrested Wednesday on charges of possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone and possession of marijuana in a drug free zone – two ounces or less.
• SALLY ANN GOMEZ, 35, of 1005 E. 15th St., was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• JOLANDA SALAZAR FLORES, 56, of 1603 Hilltop, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of injury to a disabled person with intent to cause bodily injury.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported:
In the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Blvd.
In the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Blvd.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 3600 block of W. Highway 80.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 76 inmates at the time of this report.
• GERALD GREEN JR., 48, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on charges of assault causing bodily injury, theft of property – more than $50 and less than $500, theft of property – more than $500 and less than $1,500, bail jumping – failure to appear and interfering with an emergency phone call.
• OSWALDO SUBIA MARTINEZ, 59, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for driving while intoxicated – second-degree felony.
• JOLANDA FLORES, 56, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of injury to a child/elderly/disabled with intent to cause bodily injury.
• TRISTAN WARD, 21, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on municipal capias warrants for no driver's license – when unlicensed (two counts), failure to appear (seven counts), disregarding a stop sign, expired registration, failure to maintain financial responsibility and a charge of possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.
• MORGAN DIONE AUSBIE, 18, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.
• JAMAICA ZJORZJE AUSBIE, 21, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on charges of possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone and possession of marijuana in a drug free zone – two ounces or less.
• SALLY ANN GOMEZ, 35, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• PAUL EUGENE MERRELL, 59, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported in the 1900 block of N. Highway 87. Two people were transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of E. Third Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1600 block of W. Sixth Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2600 block of Ent. One person was transported to SMMC.
