The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• SHAWN MICHAEL OVERTON, 24, of 1503 Lincoln, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency.
• MARK MAXIANO GUTIERREZ, 21, of 2911 W. Highway 80 (apartment number not provided), was arrested Wednesday on warrants for consumption of alcohol by a minor, driving under the influence of alcohol by a minor and failure to appear.
• CHRISTOPHER ANDREW YANEZ, 19, of 1100 E. Fifth St., was arrested Wednesday on warrants for public intoxication, consumption of alcohol by a minor (two counts) and hindering officers discharging their official duties.
• DENNIS EDWARD KIMBLE, 27, of 4102 Parkway, was arrested Wednesday on warrants for failure to appear (three counts) and driving without a safety belt.
• JENNIFER CANALES, 25, of 2605 W. Dow, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
• AUSTIN BRYAN SHEFFIELD, 18, transient, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency.
• JAMES AUTHOR WHITED, 47, of 309 W. Fifth St., was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• DENNIS MICHAEL RICHARDSON II, 28, of 1708 S. Owens, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• JOSHUA SEAN RESNICK, 30, of Humble, Texas, was arrested Thursday on a charge of use/possession of illegal smoking paraphernalia.
• DANIEL DOUGLAS PERMENTER, 22, of 1704 State, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• JOE ANGEL LUNA, 33, of 502 State, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction.
• JUAN JOSE LOPEZ, 44, of Mesquite, Texas, was arrested Wednesday on warrants for bail jumping – failure to appear (fine only) and no safety belt.
• MARSHA D. CARTER, 35, of 5200 Callahan Rd., was arrested Wednesday on warrants for failure to control speed and failure to appear.
• MARCOS LOUIS FUENTES, 36, of 4000 W. Highway 80 Apt. 4, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 1400 block of Harding.
In the area of Warehouse Road.
In the 4100 block of Dixon.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 1300 block of Sycamore.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported in the 1700 block of Owens.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 1900 block of N. Highway 87.

• JOE ANGEL LUNA, 33, was arrested Wednesday by HCSO on a charge of driving with license invalid with previous conviction/suspension/without final restitution.
• JUAN JOSE LOPEZ, 44, was arrested Wednesday by HCSO on charges of riding not secured by safety belt, violate promise to appear.
• DENNIS EDWARD KIMBLE, 27, was arrested Wednesday by DPS on capias warrants for fail to appear (x2) and violate promise to appear, no seat belt-driver.
• TONI RIVAS, 42, was arrested Wednesday by HCSO on charges of fugitive warrant — unlawful possession of weapon and immigration detainer.
• MARSHA DIANNE CARTER, 35, was arrested Wednesday by HCSO on charges of fail to control speed and violate promise to appear.
• JENNIFER ANN CANALES, 25, was transferred to the county detention center Wednesday by BSPD on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
• AUSTIN BRYAN SHEFFIELD, 18, was transferred to the county detention center Wednesday by BSPD on a charge of theft.
• MARCUS LOUIS FUENTES, 36, was arrested Thursday by HCSO on a charge of sexual assault child.
• JOSHUA SEAN RESNICK, 30, was transferred to the county detention center Thursday by BSPD on a charge of use/possession of illegal smoking paraphernalia.
• JAMES ARTHUR WHITED, 47, was transferred to the county detention center Thursday by BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• DENNIS MICHAEL RICHARDSON, 28, was transferred to the county detention center by BSPD on Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• DAVID ELLIS RIGNEY, 34, was transferred to the county detention center by Glassock County on Thursday on charge of public intoxication.
• BRIANA MICHELLE GRAHAM, 32, was transferred to the county detention center Thursday by BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• CHRISTOPHER JIMMY SNIDER, 23, was transferred to the county detention center Thursday by Glasscock County on a charge of purchase/furnish alcohol to a minor.
• CHRISTIAN TAYLOR STRACENER, 19, was transferred to the county detention center Thursday by Glasscock County on a charge of driving under the influence.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAUMA was reported in the 2600 block of Alamesa. No transport.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of Oriole. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of W I-20. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Hwy 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of S. Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1900 block of N. Hwy. 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of W. I-20. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2300 block of Wasson. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of Owens. No transport.
