The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• GEOVANNI MIRANDA ORNALAS, 20, of 1206 Mesquite, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of no driver's license – when unlicensed.
• ROBERT RIVERA, 39, of 2538 Langley St., was arrested Wednesday on warrants from another agency (two counts), possession of drug paraphernalia (two counts) and speeding.
• STEVAN VALENCIA, 51, of 107 N.E. Eighth St., was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for failure to maintain financial responsibility.
• SHAWN DWAYNE BLYTHE, 37, of 804 Settles, was arrested Wednesday on warrants for driving without a safety belt, failure to maintain financial responsibility (two counts), driving while license invalid (two counts), no driver's license – when unlicensed and wrong license plate.
• CRIMINAL TRESPASS was reported in the 700 block of 11th Place.
• ASSAULT was reported:
In the 500 block of S. Birdwell Lane.
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
• THEFT was reported in the 700 block of W. Interstate Highway 20.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported in the 1600 block of E. 16th Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 64 inmates at the time of this report.
• ROBERT RIVERA, 39, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on charges of driving while intoxicated – second offense, bondsman off bond for burglary of a building, possession of drug paraphernalia (two counts), speeding and failure to appear.
• GEOVANNI MIRANDA ORNALAS, 20, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of no driver's license when unlicensed.
• SHAWN D. BLYTHE, 37, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on charges of no seat belt, failure to maintain financial responsibility (two counts), driving while license invalid (two counts), no driver's license when unlicensed and displaying wrong license plate.
• STEVEN VALENCIA, 51, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of failure to maintain financial responsibility.
• TRINITY LEWIS OWEN, 31, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of public intoxication.
• SARAH OUIDA ARNOLD, 25, was arrested Thursday on a charge of bail jumping – failure to appear.
• PEDRO AGUILAR, 49, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• ANTHONY THOMAS MCGRUDER, 40, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 13000 block of Old Colorado City Highway. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 700 block of N. Aylesford. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1600 block of Lancaster. Service refused.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 700 block of E. 12th Street. Service refused.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1300 block of Johnson. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of W. 17th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
