The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• JOSE MONTEMAYOR JR., 45, of 427 E. Davis Rd., was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency and a warrant for speeding in a school zone.
• AMARIS BERNAL, 25, address unknown, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for theft – more than $50 and less than $500.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported:
In the 2500 block of Langley.
In the 3700 block of Dixon.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 2300 block of Kentucky.
• THEFT was reported in the 1900 block of Wasson.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having xx inmates at the time of this report.
• JOSE MONTEMAYOR, 45, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a municipal capias warrant for speeding in a school zone.
• RENE NICHOLAS ROBLES, 45, was arrested Wednesday by DPS on Midland County warrants for bond forfeiture – resisting arrest, search or transportation and violation of parole for driving while intoxicated.
• AMARIS LARRAINE BERNAL, 25, was booked into the county detention center Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of theft – more than $50 and less than $500.
• CRYSTAL RAE PARKER, 18, was booked into the county detention center Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of minor in consumption of an alcoholic beverage.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of W. 17th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of N. Service Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of E. Sixth Street. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2500 block of Carol. One person was transported to SMMC.
• AUTOMOBILE FIRE was reported in the 1500 block of Gregg Street.
